Cancellation periods and responsibility of the customer
When booking, the hotel (if booked) will be charged a first night plus tax (for holidays this charge can be higher), and a cancellation period of 14 days before arrival is valid.
The Sons of Poseidon Deadline for diving courses and packages is 7 days, for guided dives 4 days, and for pure dives 2 days. If the cancellation deadlines are observed, no costs will be incurred by us. We are generally very clever with modifications of your travel plans and give us a lot of effort to reconcile everything, but please understand that we need a certain lead time to offer many of the services (eg instructing instructors, ordering guide, reserving space on the boat, etc .). Therefore, in the event of arbitrary and incomprehensible actions (especially if no consultation with us), we shall be charged for the costs incurred by us.
7 days: Up to 7 days in advance can be canceled free of charge.
Within 7 days: For cancellations within 5-7 days before the start of the activities, we charge a cancellation fee of US $ 25.
Within 4 days: For cancellations within 4 days before the start of the activities we charge a cancellation fee of 50%. These are valid as a credit for up to 2 years.
24 hours (1 day): If canceled within 24 hours before the start of the activities, we will charge the total amount. 50% of these are valid as a credit for up to 2 years. If you or a member of your group does not appear or arrive late and therefore can not participate, you are responsible and the total amount is due.
To make a cancellation, please contact our diving center directly. If you cancel by e-mail, please make sure that we have received it.
We always send a cancellation confirmation within 24 hours.
Other reasons for cancellation:
Bad weather: If we have to cancel due to bad weather this is free of charge for you.
Third Party: If the provider of an activity (such as kayak, jet ski, etc.) canceled, this is free of charge.
Disease: Disease presents a general life risk and is not borne by us. The aforementioned cancellation conditions apply. We recommend the conclusion of appropriate insurance.
Responsibility of the customer:
Booking confirmation: We will send a confirmation by e-mail to the e-mail address given by you in the form of your booking within 24 hours. Please make sure you enter a correct and valid email address. If you have not received a confirmation within 24 hours after booking, please check your spam folder and contact our office if you do not find the confirmation. In the confirmation you will find all the information about your booking.
Diving Courses: A medical questionnaire must be completed at all diving courses. If not all questions can be answered with "no", a medical examination certificate must be presented.
It is up to you to make sure that you are allowed to dive according to diving interests. If you find out that this is not the case, the general cancellation conditions apply.
Defects: Should you find any deficiencies in our services or our partners' services, please contact us immediately. Please inform the responsible person in the dive base of these defects, so that we can respond to them promptly (on the same day). Please do not wait until you get back home.
